...Melodic Trance was just starting to get big? Before the ASOT shows, before the massive amounts of vocal cheese, before the thousands of "Best Trance Mix" CD's, when trance was still dark, deep, and soulful? Right on the brink, when the sounds of Tilt, Robert Miles, Transa, X-Cabs were on top, back when Hook was the leading sound in the industry, and it wasn't called Progressive, just "Good Trance." I miss those days, and to commemorate them, I made a little mix (not available online, sorry) to commemorate those days.
1: BT - Fibonacci Sequence (The Light Mix)
2: Transa - Enervate
3: Humate - 3.2
4: Stage One - Space Maneouvres (Pariah Mix)
5: Sasha & Emerson - Scorchio (Sander K's Scorched Earth Mix)
6: P.O.B. - Boiler (Humate Mix)
7: Breeder - Carnival XIII (Buffbrass Mix)
8: Tilt - Headstrong (Sorrento & Scalpel Mix)
9: Red Shift - Descender
10: Ascention - Someone (Slacker Mix)
11: Trouser Enthusiasts - Sweet Release (Second Coming Mix)
12: Aquanauts - Deep Sea (AB & Luix Diaz Mix)
13: Bedrock - Heaven Scent (Evolution Mix)
Reminds me of what Trance used to be...I miss those days.

I haven't been around trance long enough I guess - I on;y know a couple of those tracks and not all the artists. I can't comment on this, I started listening to electronic music around 2001.

Some really good tracks there, you should release the mix on MP3.
1: BT - Fibonacci Sequence (The Light Mix)
2: Transa - Enervate
3: Humate - 3.2
4: Stage One - Space Maneouvres (Pariah Mix)
5: Sasha & Emerson - Scorchio (Sander K's Scorched Earth Mix)
6: P.O.B. - Boiler (Humate Mix)
7: Breeder - Carnival XIII (Buffbrass Mix)
8: Tilt - Headstrong (Sorrento & Scalpel Mix)
9: Red Shift - Descender
10: Ascention - Someone (Slacker Mix)
11: Trouser Enthusiasts - Sweet Release (Second Coming Mix)
12: Aquanauts - Deep Sea (AB & Luix Diaz Mix)
13: Bedrock - Heaven Scent (Evolution Mix)
Have not heard the others but know that the ones in bold a quality.
Would really like to hear the whole mix though. Hint hint

The days before a lot of this wishy washy trance came on the scene. A nice selection of tracks down there.
