OK.
I am using Reason 2.5 to make music, and while I love it, it lacks VST support. What I need is a frequency analyser to make sure the frequencys are where I want them. Normally a Spectrum Analyser would be easy to find as a VST, but since I dont have that, I am wondering if anyone know of a frequency analyser that analyses the output signal from the Sound card. Could be a system tray app, or just an .exe that i could start whenever i wanted to.

Ive been searching the web for quite a while now, but so far no luck.
Anyone have any pointers for me?

hey dude, there is a way in reason to hook up the mixer thru 3 vocoders that act as equalisers giving you a real time analysis of whatever you are making, i'll email you the .rns file if you want

Yeah, I know that little trick Very Happy

However, I found that the frequency response wasnt linear.

I had the levels pretty leveled out already (ive relied on winamps frequency analyser so far, and that showed a pretty good balance in frequency range)
But in reason the high frequencys sloped way down, like they were realy quiet...

+ I could use a proper analyser, with detailed window etc etc.

I guess I will just keep hunting then....

But thanx for your reply Very Happy

Ill fiddle around some more with that vocoder trick, maybe there was some setting or smtn i missed, even tho i doubt it... Wink

have a nice day!
