I haven't heard many mixes from non-trance DJ's to be honest, but these artists/projects have impressed me: Roger Sanchez, Deep Dish, Tall Paul and Judge Jules back in the days when he didn't play much trance (2001-2002 or so). Wink

Florida breaks make for a good party atmosphere.

Iv seen icey throw down some great sets. His essential breaks releases are amazing as well.

I saw Dj Icey and Simply Jeff battle a little while ago... was some sick shit

Icey is the only deejay that I've just disliked since the start of my EDM in 1999. I've always viewed his breaks as watered down, probably because I hate florida breaks, to each his own I guess.

Yeah, I liked his first release alot better.. the essential mix breaks. It was really trancey.

I like more of a progressive breaks myself, like Infusion.

Actually, as of late of been REALLY into them. Not really even playing much trance. Only problem is, the people who do know me.. know me by trance. So its kinda hard to just up and change.

But yeah, I understand what you mean by watered down. Some florida shit is complete crap... agreed.

I prefer markus schulz lol
