Post subject: FL Studio....what's next? |
|
|
Although I have been using FL to make trance for a while now I am very much a newbie in most areas of music production. I want to start branching away from FL to hardware - possibly a synth like a Supernova but what do I need to do that? Please treat me as a dummy and spell everything out. I want to know stuff like how to connect the synth; whether I need to connect the it to the PC via something else, whether I need a dedicated sequencer rather than an all-in-one studio for this job.
Also what do people recommend for a first synth of a trance producer. I don't really know much about any of them but people always seem to rave about synths like the Supernova.
Cheers

i'm pretty sure you'll have a manual..
unless it's second hand
as for what brands...well depends on what u r after
but most Yamaha and Roland synths are quite good
go to the web sites and check out the rating,info and reviews before you buy it...

[quote="Dj Traxxlover"]well depends on what u r after
quote] Well, as I said I am a trance producer so it has to be good for that, it also has to be fairly versatile - to be able to be used for basses, leads, pads etc.
