LMC vs U2

I don't understand why LMC felt the need to sample 'With or Without You', I really don't. Generally tracks are sampled because they contain some unique element that cannot be easily replicated. Was it just a case of 'Take me to the clouds above' having a better chance of selling more copies if the U2 name is on the cover? I think there might be more than a fighting chance of that bveing the case.

LMC should be shot for butchering such a great masterpiece of music. U2's with or without you was a classic and a great song but throwing that into a 12" was wrong. U2 rarely lets a third party do remixes, only case was new years day but besides that, they get the remixers they want to remix their stuff and it makes great remixes. I have most of them, still after the aussie single of ONE with the perfecto remix of beautiful day.

With or Without you, is without a doubt the best U2 track....
It is too painful to listen to this "money making" track Crying or Very sad

Let's hope bono and the crew make a fair bit out of this, come to think of it was it really worth it?

I really hate this track, it does ruin a dam good U2 song.
