FAO ADMIN OR ANYONE--!!!! PLZ HELP

Alreet im currently in the process of designing a database driven website that holds a combination of digital learning rescources/materials that are to be stored in various formats ie doc, ppt, jpg, mpeg, pdf etc.

im at the stage of defining user requirements for each user group. could you please suggest me any possible data requirements with reference to admin that they might need??? ive already come up with passwords etc, user permisions, set task lists/intructions for their duties...what others would be possible??

Also how do admin go about uploading new material?? is it by uploading it through a server and linking the material by re-editing various pages to add the new content...or by other means...would this be the same for the database driven website??...take the example of the i:vibes online store and could u explain to me how new stock is added to it..and recomend
the best way of going about this...

any help/ pointers would be very very very much appreciated

If you're uploading pretty small files i would suggest you do it on a webpage, if it's large files you're usually better off with uploading them using ftp and editing the link etc. in php afterwards.
