I say there should be a huge event like the Olympics, though not quite, that is geared towards music. ANY music. Rock, country, jazz, traditional Chinese, African Tribal Drumming. ANYTHING. Something where people of all ages, race, culture, can show off their skill and compete. that would be great.... Any ideas? I think it should be more like the Olympics.

There's several reasons why this is not a good idea, the main one being there is no black and white way to judge musical talents, and there would be lots of disagreements. You could have an American-Idol style judge board, but this is not the best way,
