Zip the sound up and post it as an attachment - Hit the Add Attachment button in the post screen, browse for the file you want, then hit the Add Attachment button. Easy as pie |

Not quite as simple as that, the average tune is about 5 - 7MB in size, .mp3 files compress about 1 - 2 maybe 3% so its still far too big to post here.
You need an MP3 encoder such as Audio Grabber get it here http://www.audiograbber.com-us.net/ you also need the Lame.DLL from the same site.
Once you have installed it and figured out how to use it hit File> Line in Sampling and record a part of a tune you want to post.
Tip - the max file attachment is 1mb, you can record 1min and 13 secs of sound @ 112kbps and the file size will be just under 1MB (about 950kb). if you encode at 92kbps then you can fit some more of the tune on.
Hope this helps _________________

Top get a sample of a track use a handy little audio editor. There are loads kicking about.
www.cnet.com has a fair few on offering doing what you will be wanting. If you can;t find it pm me as I have a very nice freeware one which is very good. _________________ www.davehart.me |
