Zip the sound up and post it as an attachment - Hit the Add Attachment button in the post screen, browse for the file you want, then hit the Add Attachment button. Easy as pie Very Happy

Not quite as simple as that, the average tune is about 5 - 7MB in size, .mp3 files compress about 1 - 2 maybe 3% so its still far too big to post here.

You need an MP3 encoder such as Audio Grabber get it here http://www.audiograbber.com-us.net/ you also need the Lame.DLL from the same site.

Once you have installed it and figured out how to use it hit File> Line in Sampling and record a part of a tune you want to post.

Tip - the max file attachment is 1mb, you can record 1min and 13 secs of sound @ 112kbps and the file size will be just under 1MB (about 950kb). if you encode at 92kbps then you can fit some more of the tune on.

Hope this helps Very Happy

Top get a sample of a track use a handy little audio editor. There are loads kicking about.

www.cnet.com has a fair few on offering doing what you will be wanting. If you can;t find it pm me as I have a very nice freeware one which is very good.
