What exactly is a velvet morning??!

i was curious when i listened to the lyrics of kyau vs alberts song, and then i saw a song called some velvet morning by primal scream on mtv, which featured kate moss...and then when i searched on the net i discover there is another song called velvet morning out there by the verve (they did bittersweet symphony)...now, after a few quick searches yielded no results, i am frustratingly curious abt what this expression actually means
