i got a problem with trying to record record onto my MD. it keeps on track marking on the MD every few seconds. so in 1 minute of the record playing, it created 30 tracks on the MD. ive turned this function off, but it still does it. anybody have any suggestions?

sounds like the track button has shorted itself, in other words its on all the time. try spraying contact cleaner from inside out around the switch. if not send it back. Confused

I record to minidisc from the decks, just plug an output from the mixer into the MD.

Never come across that problem before tho. I'd guess that it would be a part failure.

Yeah I agree with Dave on this one, I can't imagine why it would create track divisions like that. I've never come across it when recording to MD Surprised

i know on my MD.. it can be programmed to track mark when it hears the track go silent... so maybe this is the case here... maybe your record has too many quite bits.. or isnt loud enough... Rolling Eyes
