Simple question:

Real or artificial?

Had both in the past and my experience with real ones is they make a right mess, especially when the dog starts digging the bastard up. Carpets beware.

Artificial for me, less mess.

artifical... those pines hurt ur feet! and i hate when the things round thw fiary lights fall off and u stand on one! Evil or Very Mad

Real. I've always liked real trees way better. The genuine article for me!
It costs $5 here for a license to go on any crown land not in a park and cut down up to 2 Christmas trees. It's good fun to go driving around the country side and tromping through the woods, looking for just the right one...

We've always had the real thing, until this year. Finally found a realistic-looking artificial one (it was pretty costy though).

I hate those cheap artificial ones that looks crap!

I'm starting to find Xmas a bit tedious! My mom put a grand total of 3 trees up. One in the living room, one outside, and one in the dining room. Which I had to decorate everyone, and string those stupid lights! Ugh.
Fortunately, all were fake. grin
