your impression of 2003 musically?

what do you think 2003 has been like??

I think it has been great, a lot of new albums (unkle, armin, ferry, pvd, hybrid), a lot of new compilations (gu, nyana, balance, 24:7), and a lot (and I mean A LOT) of new productions, uplifting, progressive, ...

2003 = 100% successful imo

2003 have been a lot better release-wise than 2002 (and probably 2001).

Hopefully this is a new start....and 2004 will be even better Smile

There are some amazing new pieces of hardware & software coming out in 2004 so that should inspire to a certain extent!

2003 its been a good year. I'd agree that there's been more productions and better ones released this year than the past 2 and with all those new albums, lots of new material to check out.

Overall, thumbs up.

BUt it had a lot of average stuff, armin's album, pvd's album. Tho unkle, hybrid, ulrich schnauss, free*land were so goooooooooooDDDDDDDDDDDDDD. I think it was crap year for trance because the same deejays hammered the same old tunes, over and over and over but the breaks scene went big and the other artists did well. Then again, I hate to compare years to years, so I'll take the good from it. Hopefully pvd comes back with another album shortly and blows the socks off my feet like with Out There and Back. Compilation wise, it was outstanding with gu024 and some other ones.
