Trancecore as I know it began in about 1996, the stuff I heard was mainly by GBT Records, run by popular uk DJ Billy Daniel Bunter and other guys like Rob Vandem, Sharkey & Ramos played it a lot, it's a lot faster stuff, i wouldn't say 'psy' like but some of the sounds were psychadelic, no words, and a pace like hardcore that brought 'trance & core' together. It was played at like 170bpm i think, and it was really good, I have a lot of old tapes with sets of it on, it's different and not 'trance' as you'd know it today, but it's well worth a listen if you can get hold of stuff from that era, was played mainly in events like helter skelter etc

To be honest, im not upto date with it, the DJs i used to hear play it moved onto hard house & stuff in about 2000, and I've gone more onto other styles to know much, if you do find stuff though, it'd be a good bet to listen in & enjoy a part of our history

I am new to the dj sceen, but my style is trance core
lables i would look for are bionic (ferox/ KI real) they are sick
also Data and Go mental records Dark series The omen kick ass
other than that trance core is hard to come by and i'm still searching for more
unfortuetly alot of things labled as trance core suck ass....
kind of like how psyshop new shit is all house ...but thats another story
