Post subject: Break Trance [Very Hybrid-esque!] |
|
|
im really pushing it on the album i am currently working on. Ranging from tech and french house to chillout and this, break trance.
Ive had alot of great comments on this and few bad comments so im really loving it so far. i can find faults but not many which is rare for my own production.
Its also rare for me to dabble in trance nowadays as i left that behind about january this year when i decided i would mostly produce house, techno and chillout. But i really wanted to have at least an attempt at some break trance as the (sub)genre is so very ahead of its time. i really respect hybrid and artists like them aswell for using very emotional orchestral synths and strings in there work with complex uplifting and really unbelievable percussion.
well heres my attempt lol. it originally didnt have an intro, it was just building percussion, but i felt it needed some kind of emotion to let the listener know what is coming.
the biggest faults i have noted so far are that it needs something, im thinking probably another synth or piano or something as after the intro it sounds kinda plain.
the other fault is that the pad i recently changed in the intro and in the break later is too loud, you are gona notice that for sure lol.
the emotion really oozes at 3:39 tho wen the track finally, really kicks in, that bit really gets me, which is amazing wen i feel it was my own work.
thanks in advance this is just a taster of whats to come on my album.
Break Trance
