what do you think is the most important part[s] of a track? how do you even start ur tracks? for me, its the melody/harmonies first. programming is the 'easier' part.. but then again, im just starting with production.. my only musical background is classical training in flute *few irrelevant years* , violin *five years* and piano *self taught* so im wondering those who havent had any previous musical experience, what are your methods?

| I don't know if there's any certain important part of the track. I think it all needs to be good. I generally start with the melody, or maybe bassline. I just do whatever I have in my head. Usually the percussion is the last thing I do.

Generally, something cool pops into my head and I just build on it -- sometimes it's as simple as a hihat loop... =)
