I Don't know whether it would be considered Trance as such buit it was on a Sasha set on New Years Eve on Radio One I think it was live at The Alexandra Theatre and I think it sounded like Orkidea - Unity

For me it was Chicane - Offshore, ahh brings back so many memories of Ibiza. Then Ascension - Someone being played on the Pete Tong show ages ago.

Can't really put a finger on the first trance song that I heard, or one thatt kicked off a liking for the style of music. The album which got it all kicking off for me was trance nation 2 and Euporia Vol 3.

What else would it be?
For me, the first trance song I heard was Darude - Sandstorm. Other than that, Sparkles was probably the first real trance song I heard. Still love it!
