hey people,
I'm nearly 17 and going on a student exchange to holland (the netherlands) in 2004. Just wondering if anyone has had any eperiences there or heard anything about it. Would I be sweet to get into the clubs etc? Also is trance very populour there?
thanks

You know of Johan Gielen right? Where's he from? That should answer the question about Trance He's my top dj at the moment - he rocks
I doubt you'll have problems with clubs, the dutch are a very relaxed people (I know a few, they're mad ) and I think their age for getting into clubs is either 16 or 17 so you should be ok.

And Monkey Forest is indeed a very sweet tune
to be correct: johan gielen is belgian, but living in holland atm
and holland is one of the leading nations when it comes to uplifting trance eg armin tiesto corsten, and also prog: remy, sander kleinenberg, lucien foort ...

I never knew Gielen was Belgian. I always thought he was Dutch. Which reminds me i:Vibes still needs a profile on either him or Svenson & Gielen! _________________ Do you know the difference between an error and a mistake? Anyone can make an error. yeah I suppose there is a lot of good trance coming out of there, but I too thought Gielen was Dutch. If he is belgian then that makes belgium one of the best trance producing countries. I'm thinking Laurent Veronnez, behind Airwave, Planisphere, Fire and Ice, Bodyshock, V-One,
Lolo just to name a few. _________________ trance is just a rhythmn with ornamentation,
