Corderoy - Sweetest Dreams (Ferry Corsten remix)

Has anyone else heard this track? It's amazing! So sweet and quiet, yet so moody and uplifting at the same time.

It's not particularly energetic, but in my book it's one of the best remixes from Ferry, and it's a darn sight better than Rock Your Body Rock (which sucks IMHO).

I first heard it on Ferry's world tour CD and your right, its a very good tune. Indeed up there with his finest remixes.

I've heard from Greg Murray that ferry's remix will be released soon on Tsunami special blends with new vocals in the song. can't wait.

This has always been a rather gorgeous track, but I always did feel it was crying out for some vocals.

My curiosity to hear a vocal version was such that, despite usually hating all and any mash-ups, I did my own one using the Ferry Corsten mix of the Corderoy track and the vocals from Matt Darey - Liberation (Fly like an angel). I think the result is great (if I do say so myself!). I did quite a bit of editing of the vocals so the result didnt sound amateurish.

I'd love to know what other forum members think of the new version. Does anyone have any ideas how i can get this track heard (i assume providing a direct download link would be frowned upon...)?

The FC Remix (as herd on Ferry Corsten - World Tour Washington) is very good but not as good as it could have been considering Ferry's unbelievable talent (he's one of my favorite DJ/producers) . My opinion about other mixes can be found >> HERE << .

Yea, really cool track, one of the best chillout tunes along with the thrillseekers mix of chicane - saltwater and the still unbeaten skope rmx of orion - see me here, if anyone knows of any other tunes like these plz let me know, and stu55y, i would love to hear your mix, is there a link to it anywhere?

I know I already posted on this but it seems to have dissapeared!!

Just to set the record straight, Greg's mix was done almost 2 years go now. I loved it and signed it my Relative label. I then produced the full vocal with Liz Cerelli, which came out last year. Ferry already loved Greg's mix and wanted to remix it, so we did a deal. He actualy finished his mix a year ago and that is the one he and I have been caning for the last 12 months. However,l the vocal I did, didn't fit Ferry's reworking so will not be included on the simultaneous Tsunami/Relative release on March 1st. Ferry has also beefed up his mix and so it slightly different to the version on his US mix CD.

By the way, does any one know where I can buy a copy?

I heard it is released on relative records, but every shop i go to the keep saying its out of stock

I keep trying htfr and they have not had it in since the first day it came out?

Whats up with this? I've found the import on Tusnami but I want the Uk release on Relative, went the Relative web site but it hasnt been updated in ages? Not sure it got released?

Just wondered what the score was with this, as I need this tune in my box!!!! Cool
