Top Vocalists?

We have the Kirsty Hawkshaws, the Jan Johnstons and other less known vocalists such as Julie Thompson and others, with arguably half the vocal tracks around containing vocals which would make you crash a car, but who are the top vocalists around in your opinion?
perhaps an informal poll?

tori amos too. jan, kirsty, and naimee are shoo in's!

i'm sorry, the brothers in rhythm soundtrack mix of kylie mingoue's "where is the feeling" is an AMAZING track from beginning to end.

so i have to mention kylie. please note that this track is a bit older. way before the current popularity surge of ms minogue. dizam, she's such a lil hottie!

saffron for beauty never fades. hauntingly creepy vocals.

who ever did the vocal for lange's - rock with me. that was a beauty too.

her name escapes me at the moment, but the track is sky falls down. what a bird she is!!!!

i MUST say this. i know this is an int'l board, however, recently on our uber cheesy american idol show, there was a woman named frenchie davis who was kicked out due to some porn she did at 18. this woman's voice is F'N AMAZING! SUPER POWERFUL! I can ONLY imagine if she was to hook up with a good house producer. i'm tellin you producers out there, SHE'S GOT SOME RANGE!!!!

Me and a friend were arguing about if Scooter sucks or not (I think they suck) so after awhile we got into the high-ptiched voice thing so I said that the song would be much better if you unpitched so we did and the singer that sings the highpitched part in Weekend is a really really good singer... and they destroy her voice with pitching it!!! Such a waste! F**k I hate Scooter why can't they jut work on the Ratty Project Evil or Very Mad

I heard a remix of one of Agnelli & Nelson's jobs with a Dido vocal superimposed. That was truly breathtaking... but I can't remember which Dido track it was, or which A+N track it was. Been randomly searching for it on Kazaa since the day I heard it (on a radio station in the Netherlands) but have yet to find anything! But Dido's got a voice from heaven.

And what about her from Skunk Anansie? I don't know if she's done any vocals, but if she did that would be utterly fantastic. She's got a superb voice.

The vocalist from Fragma is one of the best IMO. I kind of like Ray Wilson Very Happy

in Yet Another Day, wish he could make some more tracks. I also think the vocalist in Ian Van Dahl is great, but i dunno her name, and its not Ian Van Dahl Confused

Jan Johnston is good, but she just doesn't spark anything inside of me, maybe its because i hear her in like every production Rolling Eyes

iio is the apex of two distinct New York-based talents. Producer mastermind, Markus Moser, and 21-year-old singer/songwriter Nadia. Still only 21 years old, Nadia grew up in Queens, New York, and after soaking up the neighbourhood sounds of hip-hop, reggae, r&b and soca, she wrote her first song at sixteen and hasn't looked back. Hooking up with Markus (through a mutual friend who worked with Nadia at Versace) the iio project was born.
