Does anyone have some advice on how to mix like he does.
I am getting close to doing it but any help would be well apreciated.

heh, i remeber a certain someone while back saying pvd "signature" when he mixes = speed up every tune! and ive noticed a few ppl say it too
but if it was that simple everyone would be doing it, and it would get boring quick, even pvd probably doesnt use the same techniques/tricks over again, probably each time he mixes he tries something a little new, and then the same but different each time, and so on, besides he's had a decade and a bit on of mixing on his side, just like a persons handwriting, may look ordinary, but you only have that flair, that extra little bit that is special and unique, may not notice it, its probably there, pvd style mixing = pvd himself,
imitation is highest form of flattery, but the hardest, id say in this case
personally, id try to define your own style, no point in trying "pvd style mixing" obviously if it sounds bad its probably bad, but if its good too you then go along with what you know :p
what do i know, ive not even bothered to try or done pretty much any mixing,
good luck
