Post subject: Help on mixing on 1210's |
|
|
I do a DJ and music production course at college and they have 1210's at college. For my course now i am organising an event which involves me and 3 of my m8s DJ'ing in a club. We have a gig at a nite club on 26 march only 1 week away!! I have this problem with 1210's. I have numark TT-X1 which r absolutly beautiful and i can mix brilliant on them, but when i go to college and i mix on the 1210s i jus simply cant mix. I seem to have this problem on them, i have been practicing on them for about 6 months and the beat still goes out after about 3-4 phase and i jus cant seem to correct it. I have noticed that technics r slow to pick up, when i change the pitch it doesnt do anythin for about 10 mins, unlike my dexx which change straight away. Can any1 plzz give me any tips on mixing on 1210s. Thanks
