I think that this kind of trance is more towards the "Hard" end of the scale. But then, they do have elements of melodic trance- but still, I'd call them hard.

Progressive Trance is doing it for me right now.
Happy Hardcore and D&B are a close second (for some weird reason...its probably just a phase), but Prog will live forever

I'm mostly into trancemusic (though a bit club & house too); and it's quite difficult to decide what kind of trance I like the most. I really enjoy listen to everything with elements from trancemusic- from vocal/melodic trance to progressive and hardtrance. Cool

Just recently started to listen to Hardhouse (tidy stuff) and i love it.
"paul glazby - beautiful" is my fav atm.

For the guys who dont like ambient, i think you have missed the point of it.
Try some of Brian Eno`s tracks. He was, is and will be the master of ambient!

I actually like some psy-trance - ex. Space Cat, Astral Projection, ect. I dodn't know a lot of producers of this kind of trance though.

progressive trance (cuz thats a very broard term) the intelligent, acid tinged chunky stuff like wot john oo fleming plays, rite thru to progressive house & trance/breaks

prog-trance has a lot goin on in it. thats not to say i dont like minimal stuff as i like alot of the early nineties stuff on tresor, sunelectric's "kitchen" is probably my fave album.... its all down to the actual sounds being used. i like ambient techno or ambient house.

so im stuck btween full-on progressive trance & trippy, mystical sounding techno

I'm open to anything that has nice melody. Melody is very important! I have always enjoyed vocal & commercial trance (System F/Grouryella, Fire & Ice, Pulp Victim, etc) but for some reason I have difficulty finding songs that I enjoy. On the other hand I have no problem finding dance, especially stuff from Italy. I love the whole Eiffel 65/Prezioso/Mabel movement. Moony & Paps 'n' Skar are also nice.

Back 2 Trance: I really like the stuff from the U.K. Divine Inspiration are awesome. Saint feat. Suzanna Dee "One In A Million (Divine Inspiration Remix)" is my favorite right now.
