i was in a nostalgic mood the other day and remembered a pop song from my primary school days:
BERRi - sunshine after the rain
it goes "i wanna c the sunshine after the rain, i wanna c bluebirds flying ova the mountain again, ...."
so anyway...i listened to it again and i noticed that it sound very very alike to rogue traderz popular song...and this song is from like 95

just found it was curious...does anyone else hear the similarities aswell

Not heard the tunes mentioned in the tiel but I know which one you think it sounds similar to.

Classic that one, got it on a mix tape from 95 somewhere.

InAcoma, does Robbie D have any good songs? This isn't a cynical question, I'm just curious.

hahaha for a while there im thinking who the fuck is robbie d, im trying to go through all the aussie dj's then it clicked Wink

IMO he is a very fresh and talented musician and an all round nice guy Very Happy

I have the upmost respect for his music and while not every song on his album is a catchy hit, it's still one of the most pollished pieces of work I've heard. Im sure you are familiar with his track from the matrix 'clubbed to death' and the others from reloaded 'furious angels and chateau'

I think the thing that people get confused about is that they think all his music is going to be exactly like clubbed to death but it isn't, i also must add that when i heard the album, i was thinking WTF is he doing singing over this fantastic piece of music, but his voice did grow on me.

Alternatively, if you dont like his voice BMG (they are real good at doing this) have released a double cd which has the original album and all instrumentals... which people seem to like.
And of course i have to still buy it, seeing as it was only released in the UK and USA Mad

As for my recommendations (note his not very electronica, if thats wat ur expecting):
rob dougan- im not driving anymore
rob dougan- left me for dead (one of my fav's just because of the raw emotion and i can yell along to it when feeling frustrated)
and finally rob dougan- speed me towards death (just for its lyrical content, amazing piece of music)
check out this his website if u want to know more
