| I'm very happy that Tiesto got the No. 1 spot ... trully deserver ... but I'm shocked to see so few techno DJ's in the list ... I mean, Umek 75 ?? Picotto not in the top 10 ?? Is techno that unpopular in the UK ???

Where is Taucher? I know he is a good and popular DJ.
Why is Johan Gielen up there? He should be at the bottom quarter of the list. There are so many unfamiliar names on the list. Where do these djs come from? For example djs like:
Krafty Kuts
Slam!
Umek
John Kelly
Mistress Barbara
Mr. Scuff
Tidy Boys
etc.
It's hard for me to believe that these djs and others are more popular
than djs like Talla, Taucher, DuMonde, Blank & Jones, Hiver & Hammer etc.

Is this a wrong styled progressive chart or what?
In my opinion there are way too much progressive and techno djs in here which nobody ever heard of.
Some of my favorites like Cosmic Gate, Rank 1 aren't in it, whic are not the most impopulair trance acts around. Don't you all agree?
Cause...Who the **** is Lee Burridge on that 10th spot

Post subject: Bad Boy Bill 68???? |
|
|
| I'm not an expert in any way on techno, but I have been addicted to it for a couple of years now. I can't see there being 67 dj's that are better than bad boy bill, I certainly wouldn't put him the top 10 as djs like tiesto and paul van dyk, etc. are better than him. But some of the stuff bad boy bill has released recently are just amazing. You want to talk about music moving you, and creating emotion, his last trip through the states was unforgettable. It doesn't help that I am in a lame town where the most well known dj to come through is Baby Anne who's not bad, but there are plenty that are superior. Does anyone else agree that Bad Boy Bill should have been higher?
