Post subject: Any swiss hard trance fans in here? |
|
|
We all know that Swiss hard trance artists kick ass...like Dj Snowman, Dj Pure, Dj Simple, SHOKK, Dave Joy, Angy Dee, Zenith, Mind X, Dj Energy, Dj Spoke, Dave 202, Phil Green, Dj Noise, Alex G and Fame ect ect... i could go on and on!!!
But have any of you guys/girls noticed a shifting trend from the usual hard quality trance we are use to from these artists....to a more weak cheesy sound?
For example...compare 'Energy 00' mixed by Dj Energy to the latest Energy compliation 'Energy 02' mixed by Dj Tatana. I know theyre two different Djs but common on man...Energy 02 is some weak shit. Or how about 'Colours' by Dj Mind X...what a tune from about 2-3 yrs ago!!Compare it to his new tune 'Down Under', it just doesnt have that excitement about it, its a weak tune that can be broken easily. I know djs are imperfect and are prone to produce some weak songs from time to time....but im talking about the whole swiss hard trance scene, every new release from a swiss hard trance artist seems to be getting weaker.
Alot of you may not know what im going on about :D , but id like to know whether other swiss trance die-hards like myself have noticed this upsetting trend.

I've heard a few livesets of Swiss dj's the past months and I must say they are really good
A bit strange they are not more popular to the regular trance-lover...
DJ Mind X is probably my favourite but the others are good too!
Haven't heard those Energy compilations....so I don't have an opinion if they have become cheesy or not...but in general I think the so-called cheesy productions lately is just a part of the sound-evolution...not sure if it's a good thing but it's not much we can do to prevent it
