Moonman.... (aka Ferry Corsten)

Hmmm....... the other day I found myself listening to some old remixes by Ferry Corsten under the alias "Moonman"......... as far as I know, it's been a while since he has turned anything out under that guise.... but I have a few tunes which has grown on me the past years............
I don't know... not that Ferry is worse now, but I really like his "old" style... I just wanted to hear if some of you have the same opinion.....???

The tunes that I'm talking about...:

Marc et Claude - La (Moonman's Flashover mix)
Marc et Claude - Ne (Moonman's Flashover mix)
The Generator - Where are you know? (Moonman remix)

I don't know, maybe I've missed a few, but that's all I could come up with just right now.....

Yeah....... I've got that one also.... not bad......... these old Moonman choons seem to have a very cool (and somehow similar) sound...... GREAT I think........

I can't figure how I could forget Galaxia...... I think I must have been quite dizzy while writing this topic........ otherwise.... the Solar Stone remix is great and so is Darbucca's....... by the way.... Darbucca also remixed Fridge's tune "Mystery"....... (and that wasn't bad).... I think Darbucca has quite the same sound as Rank 1.... (at least in the one by Fridge) I think it's kinda weird....... maybe there's some kind of connection between them(??) Smile

galaxia is awesome...the brittany remix is also very good. i like how they used a piano in the samples. the original and solar stone remix is just bliss.

i agree with the lot of you guys. i miss moonman. ferry should bring this alias and that "sound" back to life.

Exactly.... that's the point........ and that was why I wrote this topic.... I think it's a shame that he has stopped making music under his alias, Mooman.... but let's not be sad a bout it.... we still have a lot of old goodies........ and hopefully we're also going to have the new Gouryella track soon........... Very Happy
