Does anyone know which music software will let me take out the music but leave in the vocals so that i can create breakbeats from a particular song?

that is a hard thing to do, hmm you best bet might be with sound editiors such as Wavelab,Soundforge, or cool edit, ( theres probably maybe sum plugins for wavelab or soundforge), the result you might get may vary from not so good to possibly aceptable results,

ive never tried this, if there is anyone that has, and gotten good results, maybe you can be of sum help?

sorry i could not be of more assistance

right then... im pritty sure this is INPOSSIBLE !!

u cannot make an acapella !! the simple reason being when u are filtering out the background sound to leave to vocals, some of the background sound and vocals will be on the same frequency and so you'll end up removoing the vocals too..

your best of trying to see if the record company released an "acapella" of the song when they released it.. Laughing

(god thats too much writing for my own good Razz)

the only way to do it is very time consuming, if you can find the exact structure of whats behind the vocal, copy it, then invert the wave and paste over the top of the part with the vocal, the two waves will cancel each other out...leaving the vocal on its own! believe me, its hard.
