Flip n Fill - True Love Never Dies ? Rank 1 vs Kylie ?

Ive recently heard Flip n Fill's version of True Love Never Dies but a while back i heard a bootleg version that had Rank 1 Airwave with Kylie Minogue singing True Love Never Dies who ripped off who ? and who created the Rank 1 Kylie version Confused

Having had the Rank 1 Bootleg for a couple of years now, I think its safe to say it came first. I'm not sure who did it, but I think its the best Airwave bootleg around Very Happy

Yep gotta agree with that, the vocals go great with that track, the Janet Jackson one is pretty good too. What id like to know is whos been rippin the track and marking it up as Rank1 vs Steps? ive never downloaded a version with this name as Steps arnt my favourite of groups, but i assume its the same track as the Kylie one? am i right? Rolling Eyes

the original bootleg came out about march april time in 99.. and was done by someone / some group called nark.. ( i got a very very limited edition white label vinyl of it Laughing

).. it came with a cafe del mar vs feel the power bootleg on the B side.. so i dont know if the two are related..

it was rumoured to feature vocals from kylie / steps ... but no one knows.. lol.. and it didnt say on my vinyl..

the it got released under the flip n fill label about 1 yr ago.. but never really did anything... but was anounced to feat the vocals of kelly lorena.. altho these were not the voclas on the bootleg version they had been re sung..

and now its got re realesed with a rob searle make over Laughing

hmmm, i think your right andy, its funny how no-one has come up with the ORIGINAL Kylie track, its never been a single, but now the Flip N Fill version has been a hit you would of thought Miss Minogue's version would of got a slight mention!!!!! Even if it was an album track or b-side! Very strange! Confused

thats a very good point.. i never looked at it like that.. Laughing

if kylie had of done the ORIGINAL then flip n fill would have needed permission from kylies record company to do a cover.. and personally i couldnt see them gettin permission..

however.. if they were covering a song from an unknown artist (donna or sandra or whoever) permission would be easier to get.. Laughing

esp if it hadnt been released...

If your really that intrested you could always find out the Record Label that the Flip N Fill tune is signed to, go to their website & maybe some more info will be there...? Confused
