Post subject: Anyone into Depeche Mode? |
Hey everyone. I'm glad I found a place that shares my love for electronica. I listen to trance, house and techno but my alltime favorite is Depeche Mode. They got me into the whole electronica scene with their early music. Just wondering if it was the same for anyone else or if you all are fans too. I kinda stopped listening to them for awhile but then my friend gave me their new DVD One Night in Paris and that got me started again. They are still as good as ever. I also found a sweet DM site that lets you earn prizes and stuff http://www.ufanz.com/teams/depechemode. Thought I would throw it out there for all the other fans. Anyways, hit me up and we'll talk.

Im not so keen on their early 80s stuff but all their late 80s/early 90s stuff and escecially the Violator & Ultra albums are pure class! In fact one of my all time fave tunes ever is Enjoy The Silence. The Mike Koglin remake was good but the original is better!

Yes Violator is pure class! I love that album. I also like their early 80's stuff too. I don't know, I guess it brings back fond memories for me. The DVD I was talking about has a lot of Violator tracks on it...maybe that's why it's so good.
