Eric Prydz is a man who needs no introduction and arguably one of the best current DJ's in the world. Bringing such labels as pryda, mouseville and pryda friends and providing last years tune of the summer pjanoo. Witch Escape Into The Park just round the corner, we take some time to have a chat with him and ask him a few questions.

If you could perform with anyone who would it be and why?
It would be fun to DJ with my dad to see if he has it in him, or maybe my sister, something like that

Who’s on your Radar for 2009?
Magnus, upcoming Swedish producer.

If you could play anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
If I could play anywhere it would be to go back to an old club in Stockholm called the rainbow room, but unfortunately it doesn’t exist any more. but I started out my DJ career there and it was just the best parties ever

What’s the best gig you’ve been to?
Miami last year- Ultra Festival, it was amazing, really, really cool

What’s the worst gig you’ve been to?
The worst gig was the Rainbow room in Stockholm, someone puked in my record box and I had to continue to play for 2 hours!

What’s next for you in 2009?
A lot of cool stuff coming up… on the record producing front there’s a new Eric Prydz single, and then there’s my new multi media platform ericprydz.tv which is coming in a month or a few weeks so check that out

What’s on your rider?
I actually don’t know what’s on my rider. Sometimes I turn up to a show and there’s ten bottles of Smirnoff and really strange blenders that people have been running around trying to get for a week.. I think it should probably just be beer and water and maybe some fruit or something like that but I don’t know I didn’t make up the rider!

What’s your pre gig routine?
Hiding in a hotel room, and trying to get some rest because I almost always travel by train or car so I’m always knackered by the time I get to a show, so I try to get some rest and some food, burn some new CDs. Maybe watch some movies and relax.
