who likes hardcore??

Just curious, who listens to happy hardcore (or associated genres like drum n bass & old skool).

I got 25 '12 pack' tapes from dreamscape, slamminvinyl, helter-skelter, united dance, hardcore heaven and such and 17 lots of 6 or 8 tape packs from the same people tho a few of them were technodrome and trance packs Very Happy

I'll give it a go at the ID, the only problem is you never get tracklistings for every set tho so it'd be a guess but there are a few thats easy to know

I don't get Galaxy 105 though, wrong side of the peak district I imagine, we're stuck with no really good stations here, u get radio 1, BRMB and the legendary bbc radio derby Mad

That song u was on about before it, Bang - Break of dawn is some tune though, I've not got a pack in ages but some of the best ones I have like Energy 1998 have that on, it rocks, specially when Brisk dropped it cos he always plays his tunes slightly faster than the other guys Smile

Let me know if you get any samples of it tho, i'll gladly help to ID it

yeah u will just be wrong side for galaxy 105... the signal doesnt spread outside yorkshire very far at all...

and break of dawn does rock... but i prefere sail away... OMG what a tune Laughing

the remix of sail away brisk played frequently was amazing, shooting star was a classic, and lots were at the time, I think I stopped listening to the 'new' stuff when it got boring, nothing new just remixes tho there was an amazing Dj Demand set @ helter skelter last summer... its the best hardcore set I'd heard since 99

i tell you what - eye opener is a fucking fat tune - especially one of the remixes. That break of dawns not bad - but its not as good as shooting star, or cloudy daze. Has anyone heard children of the night by nakatomi? OK so its pure cheese, but its quite good.

i still listen too it ive allways liked it. i started listening to it when i was about 10 or 11 cos my brother had all the CDs like Dune, Interactive, Jax in The Box, Rave-O-Lution, Party Animals, Scooter. i supose happy hardcore is what got me into Trance and Prog house in a strange way.

Ive got a canny few tapes still from 95 to around 2000 from the Coloseum - The north easts finest rave clubs!! RIP- but shut down a while ago, and the Afterdark which is also now shut because of shootings, drugs etc!! but still opens sometimes.

Also i got about 800mb of rave mp3s and live sets. stuff such as force & styles, triple J, Fade, Dj Vinylgroover, Slipmatt, Charley Lownoise- all the classic tunes!!!

well I love teh hardcore scene

Ive Only followed it since November 2000 and ive got 27 or 28 Tape packs ranging from Helter Skelter, Hysteria, Slammin Vinyl , North Radical, United Dance, Hardcore Heaven, GBH, Substance,

I follow the Hard Trance scene the Most e.g Mark EG, M-zone, Cally & Juice, Farside

but i still love a bit of the happy Hardcore Breeze, Hixxy, demand, Robbie Long, Dougal etc etc

I also love Dj Energy he is bringing up the New NRG scene and doing it in style

Occasionly listen to old skool e.g rat pack never never listen to DRUM and bass i hate 5the mc's they just blabber aload of crap

One of My fac Happy Hardcore tunes has got to Be the remix of Braveheart or the mix Of the terminator tune

keep the scene alive
