Aside from the major clubs within big cities local clubs have a reputaion to be cheesy palaces full of fat ugly people who dont know any better.

I know around my local area a lot of clubs just play rubbish music and for a decent club night you have to go further a feild.

What are your favourite local clubs?

In music style not which one has the nicest talent to take home at the end of the night.

... to be brutally honest, our clubs and all the nearby ones too suck ass badly in every respect. Mostly horrible male/female ratio (mostly men and mostly pricks at that), terrible music (rap and r&b in a nightclub? No thanks), and the women that are there are bitches or sluts or both.

So yeah, about the closest 'local' club that I would even consider would be something like Cream or Gatecrasher Wink And both of those are 2 hour car journeys away, so mostly we tend to get trashed in the pub (luckily i'm on good terms with the dj and get to bug him into playing good stuff) then go to someone's house for an afterparty. Going to a club is something that happens to other people around here these day Sad

That sounds familer to me. Like the localo clubs around here, they play nothing but the new Rianna song, its so bad I dont even care if I've spelt her name wrong Smile They do tend to be a bit of a sasauge fest to with any nice lass being hunted down by an army of sweat smelling geezers.

I am actually going to London / UK for a month next week and was wondering what clubs are the best? I keep hearing 'go to Ministry' etc but usually these big super clubs aren't as good as the back alley, lesser known clubs.
