Yoko Kanno - Rise

Has anyone heard this piece yet, I can't seem to get enough, this is the same person who made Inner Universe for the Ghost in Shell anime, please reply, i'm interested to hear peoples opitions

Joko Kanno rules....his drum n bass and breaks works are amazing!! Razz

Rahxephon was also him, as well as the amazingly funky stuff on Cowboy Bebop! A very clever producer and should be seen more of.

Dude if you like Yoko, have a look for The Zone of The Enders soundtracks for the games....very clever and close in style! Twisted Evil

And yes, she rocks. The only artist I'd place above her is Kajiura Yuki.

Rise is an awesome piece, but I prefer Can't Be Cool (also from GiTS:SAC 2nd). Cyberbird is my favourite piece from that OST though. The ZOE soundtrack is nice too, agreed Smile

However, I think her most amazing work to date is the Arjuna soundtrack, which I am a very proud owner of Very Happy
