What do you guys think of Darren Tate and Mike Koglin?? Cause i got to hear them spin live in San Franisco at a event called "LOVE" last sunday and they were off the HOOK! Ecspecially Mike Koglin that guy has a dope mixing and tracking style! But Darren Tate had a more mellow which i find ok.
Mike got the croud pretty wild when he spun his track called "Circuit"
love that song I have it on vinly as well.
Darrent Tate was afterMike spinning his song "Winter" which got the croud crazyy too!
If your ever in San Franisco towards the end of Fall buy yourself a ticket to a event by Skills called "Popsickle" they always booking good name producers for the Bay Area.

I think you would enjoy Darren Tate's alias DT8; because under that alias he produces some progressive and melodic stuff, kind of on the uplifting side as well. DUnno if u'd enjoy that kind of stuff.
I too enjoy the progressive melodic stuff as well.

DJ-wise I can't say much. I do own a compilation by Darren Tate. The mixing was OK, but the flow was off, jumped around a little too much.
As producers tho, Darren Tate in particular is one of my favourites. I like most stuff from him under any alias or colloboration.

I'm a big fan of Darren Tates productions under his own name. 'Prayer For A God' and 'Fall From Grace' being two worth looking at. His collaborations with Jono Smith and Mike Koglin came out very well.
The Silence by Mike is one of my favourite tracks.

Ohhh yeah Mike that track too! The 2005 remake tho, which has a very nice build up but the baseline is ok. I like the old version better.
