I decided to write down all tracks that were worth buying this year so far. If you like uplifting trance like me, u definately have to go for those. They're all pretty old mate, infact I've had the Yves Deruyter mix of fly away on vinyl since summer 2000

I voted 'Maybe' because we dont know yet, its only March! Id like to say that this will be a year better than 99 for trance but that whole style was in a time of its own, a lot of the producers & Djs have moved on scince then.
Mind you, 2002 is most definitly shaping up to be massive, Agnelli & Nelson are back again, anthemic tunes like Tillmann Urmacher's 'On The Run' & Future Breeze's 'Temple Of Dreams' are on the airwaves. Lost Witness' classic 'Did I Dream' is being re-released with the Tiesto mix thrown in & my big tip for the coming months is the Minamilistix & Push mixes of 'Believe' by Travellers In Motion, this tune is huge!
Damn! just thinking about it, 2002 could well be the classic trance year, we shall see...

i agree... at the moment alot of the tunes out are at the harder side of the trancey scale... the sweeet ones wont come till summer... and there the ones that made 99 soooo unforgettable..

Yeah, Summer is the time for the real anthems! The summer of 99 (in my opinion) was the last truly great Trance season, but as Judge Jules said (when talking about Tillmann Urmacher's 'On The Run') "Trance is definitely back... with avengeance!!!" I reckon this is true because the Progressive scene was shining through last year and its now moving back over for Trance, maybe not exactly the same formula as 99's stuff but so far, so good!!!!!!

Hi Mates!
99 was definately the best year of trance yet!
But I think even 99 didn't start as good as this year. We have loads of great tunes yet and we're not yet started
So I think relying to the DJ sets & Vinyls of this year so far, if that will continue, we would probably have the greatest uplifting, melodic Trance summer of all time! I am definately looking forward of what is about to come
