We are justifiably and over enthusiastically proud to present the first single from label figurehead Umek's upcoming "Responding to Dynamic" album! This is Uros' second ever long player and as you can excited, we here at 1605 HQ are somewhat excited!
Quite fittingly for this release, and by way of showcasing the direction of the album, Umek has chosen "Slap"-a typically pounding, bombastic production that not only serves as a teaser for the album-but the entire 1605 aesthetic in general! Insane, effected percussive hooks? Check. Massive, throbbing bassline? Check. Dancefloor mayhem? Guaranteed.

Slovenia’s most famous techno artist is without a doubt Umek. Since the mid 90s, Umek has produced an onslaught of music that has graced the DJ boxes of virtually everyone in techno. His latest projects include his relatively new 1605 imprint, which has already proven to carry the same musical strength Umek has provided with his previous efforts.
