Binary Finary: Whats your vintage year?

A few of us were chatting about weather a 2001/2002 mix of Binary Finary exists. This got me listening again to the few versions i have and i was just wondering what's your fave year/mix?

Mine was the original 1998 (Matt Darey Mash Up Mix) but, now ive been listening to the 2000 (Dumonde Mix) a lot more and that (in my opinon) is the one that rocks it for me!!!!!!!!

was yours? and are there any decent bootlegs of the track knocking about?

Theres 1999 vs Daft Punk - Around the world in 1999, thats pretty good as a fan of both songs... I like the 1998 PVD mix tho the 1999 gouryella mix is good and the Dumonde mix of 2000 is also top, its hard to call it but I think 1998 wins it .... just

the dumonde version of 2000 is pritty sweeet.. but for me the vinatge year has to be

mines 1999 (gourylla mix), but then you hear a dumonde mix of 2000... its so hard to decide.

never the less - this is a classic !!

if mauro picooto did a remix of this (like his 'out of the blue' remix) chunky but uplifting - that would be cool !!

There is no doubt in my mind that the Paul Van Dyk mix of 1998 is the best of them all. My opinion anyway..... It has the most wonderfull build up. his is really taken it to the edge ;-)

i used to love the dumonde rmx (still do a little), but i prefer the gouryella rmx now.

Just downloaded the PVD mix, its a close one but Dumonde still win it for me! Very Happy

1. 1999 (Gouryella Remix)
2. 1999 (Kay Cee Remix)
3. 2000 (Dumonde Remix) <--- this is the only dumonde production that i am impressed with

It´s the first time i come to this forum, and i´ve had found that you were chatting about if there is a new 2001 or 2002 song of Binary Finary, what i can said it´s the 1998 has been selected as the best song done in that year, it was the firt one and the original and that it´s something that it will always have, On the othe hand the beggining of the 2000 (Dumonde´s Mix) it´s one of the best beggining i had ever heard, but the turp up of the 1999 (Gouryella) it´s better than the 2000, which one is better. I think no one could judge it, but in my opinion the best one is making the 3 sound at the same time hearing to Carl Cox in Ibiza
