hmm.....while i was checking the poll results OF trigaX - Who is the best dj in your opinion?? topic ...it was only to my astonishment that i realised theres one DJ that should defintely have been on the list...his name is Tony de Vit, to those who dont know him he was a massive house DJ in the 90's, he passed away in his prime, if he was alive today he would outclassed any DJ.....to me there are only 2 Dj's who can be defined by the sound of their first record one is Carl Cox and the other De Vit....man, Tony's music was played everywhere on BBC Match Of The Day to Sky, thats how good he was....i hope the moderators read this and they can pay some sort of tribute to him on the homepage...now that would be kool to one of the best dj's on the world.

RESPECT TO TONY DE VIT

When I first heard the news I was on holiday and I was shocked, I'd not long come across him as an Artist and he was great, leading the way for others. From what I remember, he died from Pneumonia or an infection whilst on tour somewhere but I can't be sure, but i've heard rumours that he had everything from drug addiction to aids, but I think thats just a load of bullshit. respect Tony, we miss you Crying or Very sad

Yup, he learned Fergie and BK how to DJ actually.

It is true that he did have AIDS. The facts is that he was actually homosexual. He did die of pneumonia because AIDS causes your immune system to be so weak that a simple flue can be fatal.

That doesn't take anything away from him being one of the greatest DJ's and producers ever.
