You may be in shock to hear this but... i dont rate Marco V quite as much as most of u do. fair enuff, he is good at dj-ing, he can mix a tune with the best of em, but, his solo tracks do nothing for me!!! the only remix of his that i own is Rank1's Such Is life. sorry!! Rolling Eyes

Everyone has their own dislikes etc... Personally I think he's very talented,
with releases like:

In Charge
Certainly
Tolerance
Indicator
Simulated
GODD

and remixes to including
Damn Noa - Like a prayer

Those tracks definately do it for me Smile

I'm a big fan of Recovered and Simulated, But I still prefer Mauro for all my hard trance needs, theres just something about that guy whats magical, Marco is good, but Mauro, or even Fergie come before him for me

Picotto certainly is talented I do agree, I'm going to a 6hr set of his at Gatecrasher on Sat :)

However, Fergie? He's a totally different story

maybe thats the one i downloaded? i saw some peeps raving on about it in the TranceAddict forums weeks ago, so i downloaded it. it was dull. then i posted this msg up. it was the final straw! maybe i'll give marco a 2nd chance! after all i have no complaints about his mixing djing skills. we'll see when i download the correct mix... Question

Personnally I think Marco V sucks, maybe its just his style that I don't like. Ferry Corsten does it for me anyday!

Marco v rocks
his remix of simulated sounds great
Godd is a good thumping tune to hear in between all the uplifting trance tunes
he's also a great dj, no. 85 in the world..i dont think so

i personally think marco v is very talented. he brings a different sound to trance. sometimes we all bombard on stuff from ferry corsten, armin van buuren, svenson & gielen and the likes, we need someone like marco v who brings a harder, techy style of trance. my favorite marco v productions include:

indicator <---top tune
simulated
godd

i can understand why some people would say godd is boring. it doesn't contain a dominant melody but thats the key to the whole track. its got killer lyrics to go with a simple yet banging beat. a great choon to dance to IMO.

Marco V, Brilliant Dj, Good Producer. Had his ups and downs. He made lots of music he didn't like. From the time Luvstruck was a hit he made tons of songs that was really shit!! BTW he ALWAYS produces with Benjamin, let that be clear! Now the last years he (they) makes the music he wants to make! Nice heh

My Top 3 Marco V(& Benjamin)songs ever:
1. Indicator (BRILLIANT!)
2. Obscura (for all of u who didnt know Out Of Grace = also Marco V & Benjamin!!!)
3. Simulated
