Adam White ft Liz Cirelli 'One Temptation'
(Original Vocal / Instrumental / Karl G Remix / Floatation Remix / Noff Remix)

Release Date : 5th April 2007

Already supported by Paul Van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, Graham Gold, Paul Kershaw, Big Al & Andy Moor

As Emalodic's second official release, and a great follow up to 'Never Tell What You Think', Adam certainly had his work cut out for himself. This latest release, 'Adam White Feat Liz Cirelli - One Temptation', showcases the talented Liz Cirelli on the vocals. Her voice through out the many remixes on this release aren't your usual fluffy happy vocals, but instead have an interesting edge that breathes a slight amount of turmoil beneath the surface. Her voice also provides a mildly nostalgic Trance Sound from the 99-02 era.

On remix duties, Adam has called upon the talent of UK producer Karl G who has made full use of the vocal and melodies and delivered an awesome remix for the more demanding dance floors. Floatation have turned in a full on 140 bpm affair ideal for those peak time moments. Finally, Adam's new signing to Emalodic Noff has delivered a great remix adding his own unique twist to the original elements of the track.

'Original Vocal Mix': Showcasing Adam's excellent production skills, one knows instantly this is an Adam White production. From the punchy bassline through to the snare/cymbals used throughout, the beat is sure to hypnotize any listener. We get the first taste of Liz' voice in this Mix, and these fit perfectly. Impeccably mixed, her voice fits right into the flow and does not remove from any aspect. One could never imagine that the song would be as powerful without her haunting voice.

'Instrumental Mix': And then you get to listen to Adam's Instrumental rendition of this song, and you are simply taken aback when you discover that this mix is in fact just as powerful, if not more so. Removing her amazing voice did not ruin the song, but instead it allows Adam's incredible touch to shine through. Including fantastic string elements through out, an element I had not noticed in the previous mix.

'Karl G Remix': After hearing Karl's Remix of Judge Jules' song 'Ordinary Day' feat Katie Marne & Cara Dillon, I had very high hopes for what was to come. Karl's energy is immediately displayed, taking the Original Mix and jacking up the Tempo. Karl's touch works fantastically well in this remix, showing us that her voice is powerful, but he goes light on the voice in his rendition. His added 'vocoder-like' effect to her voice adds a certain industrial feel to the song, powering the song even more. Karl has chosen key elements to highlight, like her voice, he has added effects to the strings I discovered in the 'Instrumental' Mix.

'Noff Remix': Having recently signed Noff to Emalodic, Adam quickly puts the producer to work to provide a slightly more up beat version of Adam's Original Mix. Having kept the vocals as pure as the Original, most of the work Noff has placed into this Mix lay in the instrumental portion of the song. Highlighting the high end of the song, and bumping the tempo up slightly, turn this remix into a more uplifting offering.

'Floatation Remix': Straying completely from what has been offered in this release so far, Floatation decides to provide us with an incredibly infectious, 140 BPM version. Stripping the vocals down to a minimum, and heavily modifying them, this trancer is sure to move dance clubs worldwide. Including this remix in the release is a fantastic contrast to most others, and shows the versatility of the original in the hands of a talented remixer.

Most remixes on this release are tuned to the more melodic side of things, but fear not if this isn't your thing. Pick up the Karl G or Floatation remixes if you are in need of an energy jolt. Needless to say, this track will quickly become everyone's 'One Temptation'...
