I'm trying to get a list of old 'classic' songs that have been turned into storming trance hits, the 2 that come to mind are ferry's mixes of barbers adagio for strings and ravels pour une enfant defuente...
Can anyone help me by naming more examples like those 2 plz...

when u say 'classic' u mean classical ??
cuz theres that Waveburner - Where Spirits Run (which contains the Gladiator theme)
Watergate - Heart Of Asia (Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence) - yes it is classical

Yeah thats what I meant, it was early when I wrote it 
theres one example on I think tunnel trance 12 and its really good, I'm just trying to list as many as I can to see how good they are, if they're anything near as good as the ferry corsten remix of Barbers Adagio, then it'll be cool

I was thinking more along the lines of the ones like william orbit played than classic tunes like the N-Trance one and so on...
1 more for the list so far is
Fran Bizarre & F.M.F. Greg - Ballade Pour Elise 2000
there was also a hardcore remix of John Gottis revenge... that tune rocked, but I've never heard a trance mix

haha... Symphonic - Bolero has a really obvious tune (cept i dont know the name  ) i got the CJ Stone Mix - its quite good.
