here's my question: wich do you prefer/use when producing music?

i personally have been using the fruity for about 3 years. i just started learning reason a few weeks ago so i can't really give an opinion on reason.

so my pick would be the fruity.

It's not the instrument, it's the artist.

Of course it's not the instrument.
but some artist prefer to use some tools and others prefer others.

I own both and i use fruity 99% of the time. I do not like the piano roll on reason, its not as friendly as FL studios piano roll. Learning all the routing with the wires is something(at my current lvl of producing) that i dont wanna mess with until later down the road. Im havin a blast with FL, it can support any big plugin out there which is quite handy.

fl studio has a rewired pluging, so you can use fl studio as a host to any rewired client (i.e. reason).
fl also supports vst & vsti, and it even works as one!
soundfonts2 is also supported.
