Two of my favourite films, these. Love the black British humour here. Sort of like a better version of Pulp Fiction. Some of the dry humour cracks me up as well - I watched "Snatch" today for the first time and there's a bit where Turkish says he needs a new trailer for his operations. Tommy says something like "What's wrong with it?" Turkish goes to open the door and pulls it off. Then he says, "Oh nothing, Tommy. It's tip-top. But I'm not sure about the colour." Had me laughing for ten minutes.

I guess maybe you need to see it. Or maybe I'm just off my head at the moment.

Still, anyone else a fan?

Oh yeah. LSTSB is from 1998, and Snatch is 1999 or 2000 I think. They are both out on DVD. It's worth the cash.

Yeah, he was a soccer player. I have both on DVD, both are great. Guy Ritchie's the man, he shagged Madonna and makes some great films. (Some shitty ones too, but hey.)

What other movies has he done? (aside from these two of course)

Yeah I love Lock Stock and Snatch and I think I love that sarcastic line as much as you do. It still makes me laugh after having watch the movie about 6 times!

Another good one is that scene where Tyrone the getaway driver backs into the truck.
"It was at a funny angle."
"It's behind you, Tyrone!"

or won't park in the space in front of the bookie's because it's "too tight".
"Too tight? You could land a jumbo fucking jet in there!"
Laughing

Haven't seen the former but enjoyed Snatch... not least for its proper use of the word "pikey"

Well, I like the quick editing. Watching Snatch the other day, I again realized how great the scene is where the dogs are chasing the gypsy's rabbit, and Tyrone is running away from Bricktop's men. The cuts and edits there are great.
