Raikkonen - Clearing water (edited club mix)

this is my first tracne tune ive made, its more like power/hard trance, if ya like oceanlab satellite or stuff my armin van buuren then ya should like this, really nice synths. if ya registered on internetdj please give it a review and be honest, all the bad things please.

ive edited it so it starts straight into the bass line with an explosion, youl see, so its stragith to the point and no build ups. hpe ya like it.

Not bad for a first track, mate.

The sounds are all very trancey... I would definitely liken this to uplifting trance rather than anything hard, because it isn't.

The biggest problem with this track is the progression. There are lots of fills and effects at the end of your 8 bar patterns, particularly during the intro, but no payoffs. For instance the kick is taken away for a bar or so, then when it returns things continue exactly as they were. Work on layering your sounds more and building the anticipation for the listener. Automation is also your friend when producing trance. I've noticed it a little, but use it a lot more, this lessens the chances of the track sounding static and dull.

I hope that wasn't too critical, but it's all constructive I think. Smile

Overall though, good work. Keep up it.
