Oh Yes!! Yes, yes!! (Pure classic!! matey!)

We have the following... (In no real order)

The Orange Theme (Bervoets & De Goeij Mix aka Rank 1) Razz
The Orange Theme (Solar Stone Remix) Smile
The Orange Theme (Man With No Name Remix) Twisted Evil
The Orange Theme (Moonman's Orange Juice Mix) Mr. Green
The Orange Theme (Mark Van Dale with Enrico Remix) Neutral
The Orange Theme (Martin Roth Mix) (Under Martin Roth & Frank Ellrich. A remake) Wink
The Orange Theme (Frank Ellrich Mix) (Under Martin Roth & Frank Ellrich. A remake) Very Happy
The Orange Theme (Red Jerry's ProleKult Mix) Confused
The Orange Theme (Blu Peter Mix) Shake
The Orange Theme (Push Remix) Smile
The Orange Theme (Lawnmower Man Mix) Undecided

The versions that tone down the original 'awful sound' or the main sequence as I call it. Grin Are the B & DG Remix, Solarstone, Frank Ellrich, Red Jerry and Push.

But for me the best versions are Moonman and Man With no name. Okidoki
Check them dude.....in my opinion, better than the original anyway. Shock

the original came out in 1994, which i didnt realise, but then listening to it afterwards, its apparent because of the style and sound...

best remixes have to be moonman and push! Very Happy

Bervoets & De Goeji and Man with no name mixes are my top ones Very Happy

There's also a rare Tony De Vit remix kicking around the place, though it's nothing special. And there's also that recent Mike Dragon mix called The Orange Song.

edit: While we're on the subject of the orange theme, I've been trying to identify a mix of it for ages now with no luck. If someone could tell me what it is I'd be most grateful Smile

Original (6:27)
- classic of its time
Remix (on Cygnus X - Hypermetrical album) (8:29)
- doesn't really improve the original but isn't much worse either
Bervoets & De Goeij Remix (7:06/album version 7:19)
- would have been great without the highly annoying synths they used
Man With No Name Remix (9:00)
- wonderful flowing trancer, much more on the straight trancey side than most MWNN works
Solar Stone Remix (8:47)
- wonderful, moody and melancholic, one of my fav SS remixes
Martin Roth (9:05) & Frank Ellrich (9:56) remakes
- both mixes are absolutely awful
Moonman's Orange Juice Mix (6:59)
- great piece of old skool trance
Red Jerry's Prolekult Mix (8:30)
- very disapppointing mix, nothing special at all
Blu Peter Remix (6:47)
- not too good either
Mark van Dale with Enrico Remix (8:20)
- can you say "cheese"?
Push Remix (8:59)
- *sigh* how did Mike managed to do this bad mix of a track this good?
Lawnmover Man (aka Blue Alphabet) Remix (6:51)
- some people praise this mix but i don't like it at all
Transic Trancentral Remix (8:15) *officially unreleased*
- pretty nice remix, i first thought this was Mike's alternate mix but found out it wasn't

Hmm, as far as i know, Tony de Vit hasn't remixed Orange Theme but only Cygnus X's Turn Around. There has been some Orange Theme mp3s floating around titled as TdV remix but they are mislabels.

Headrush, the "unknown" mix you have there, is Solar Stone Remix, only pitched up quite a few beats.

It's pitched up to 148bpm. I know that because it's from one of my own mixes Smile Thanks GrimReaper, that's been bugging me for ages.

There's also a Frank Ellrich remix from the remake he made with Martin Roth.
I like it a lot! It has more breaks in it.

But I'll go with the original! I recently bought the album from Cygnus X and I was so happy to find the full length original version on it as well as the Moonman/Ferry Corsten rmx! Very Happy
