HI EVERYONE, PLEASED TO BE HERE, IM JADEN, FROM UXBRIDGE,MIDDLESEX IN THE UK. HOPE UR ALL COOL!
IVE JUST JOINED THE SITE AND ITD BE GR8 2 CHAT TO U GUYZ SUMTIME!

I WAS ALSO WONDERING IF ANYONE COULD HELP ME FINDING A TUNE THATS DRIVING ME CRRRAAZZZEEEEEEEEE!!!!

I RECORDED IT ONTO CASSETTE AS I HEARD IT PLAYING ON THE RADIO BY CHANCE, GET THIS...THREE YEARS AGO! (OR ABOUT THAT!)
I FORGOT ABOUT THE TAPE. JUMP NOW TO A FEW WEEKS AGO, AND THERE I AM GETTIN ON WITH LIFE, AND THIS TAPE DECIDES TO SHOW UP, AND GUYS I HAVE SEARCHED ENDLESSLY TO FIND THIS TUNE, AM PROPER SCREWING OVER THIS!

I MANAGED TO FIND OUT THAT THE LYRICS USED OVER THE MELODY ARE FROM A SONG BY "VANESSA PARADIS" CALLED "GOTTA HAVE IT".

VERSE:

CHORUS:

THE SOUND IS A HYBRID OF TRANCE/COMMERCIAL HOUSE, QUITE AMBIENT AND MELODIC. HAS A SYNTH SOUND TO IT.

SO ALL I KNOW IS THAT THE LYRICS ARE FROM AN OLD SONG, I DONT THINK ITS VANESSA PARADIS SINGING THE NEW DANCE VERSION. ITS AN AMAZING TRACK, ALTHOUGH POSSIBLY SLIGHTLY COMMERCIAL, ITS GR8! ITS QUITE REPETITIVE (BIT LIKE ME THEN!! LOL!) AND MAINLY USES THE ABOVE SHOWN VERSE AND CHORUS. OH, AND IT WAS PLAYED ON CAPITAL FM! (DUNNO IF THAT HELPS BUT WORTH A GO! LOL!)

IF THERES ANYONE OUT THERE WHO KNOWS OF THIS TRACK, PLLLEEEAASSEE LET ME KNOW! I WOULD BE ETERNALLY GR8FUL!

OH YEAH, THRU RESEARCH, I HAVE A BIT OF HOPE THAT IT *COULD* BE MY "MASS MEDIUM" WITH TWO MIXES - "DJ PREMACY MIX" AND "KILUBBERHEADS SUMMER MIX 2002" OR IT COULD BE BY AN ARTIST/GROUP (?!?) CALLED EITHER "VIP" OR "VIP 2002". THIS IS THRU SEARCHING FOR WHAT SEEMED LIKE YEARS ON GOOGLE!

GUYS IM ON A NITE OUT NOW WITH WORK COLLEAGUES, SO I GOTTA RUN! BUT IF ANYONE HAS ANY IDEA AS TO THE ORIGINS OF THIS TRACK, PLS GIMME A SHOUT! HAVE A GR8 TIME ON HERE, WILL BE BACK SOON!

The one by Mass Medium fits the bill; released in 2002 on Blue Records.

They have samples on the website, go to Catalogue>Blue and it's a little way off the bottom.

Please try to refrain from posting in all-caps in the future, it looks more professional and clean if you stick to standard English.

You should really consider turning off your caps-lock when writing in here as it's very tiresome for others to read when everything is in upper-case.

hi, thanx 4 replies, im afraid its not the one by mass medium! (sob) its got the lyrics from vanessa paradis' "gotta have it"!! was well excited but then totally gutted when i heard the mass medium tune. it was kinda cool too though!

and a big apology 2 u guys for writing in caps, i honestly didnt realise it was SUCH a problem! sorry people! peace! x

It's not a problem really Jaden! Caps is just considered to be SHOUTING IN FORUMS AND HANS HAS TO SAVE HIS EARS FOR TRANCE TUNES!! Razz

turn the music rate up. get your mobile phone, and ring 2580, and put it next to the speaker, and let shazam do the rest. if it has that song in its database, you will get a text to tell you, it costs 50p, and if it cant find the song, no charge. i use it all time and it most times works.
