How many CDs do you buy?

Just wondering. I usually buy about 2 a month.

Do singles count? I guess not.. Albums maybe 2-3 a month, singles alot more, naturally depending on releases of course.. plus a rather large amount of vinyls.

I rather buy artists albums instead of DJ mixes even if there are exceptional good mix CDs too which i can't be without of. Those can be counted with one hand's fingers tho. The number of buy worthy artist albums is obviously smaller than what it is with the DJ mixes but as always, quality before quantity.

The reason for me not getting the mix CDs is that there are way too many exactly alike mix CDs out there with the very same tracklists while the track order being the only difference between them.. so why should i buy the same tracks a million times; not really worth it. I support my fav artists as much as i can anyway. I don't buy anything because of the artist's/DJ's name, i buy because it's good. "OMG It's a new XXX it must be good" hype is not for me.

sometimes i can buy over 5 in a month and other times i dont buy any, just go on little music attacks every now and again, depends how much free money ive got to spend. vinyl wise its much more consistant, probably a little over ten each month.

A few years ago it was 5+ per month but not any more. Confused

Depends on the month I reckon or what deals I find or what expenses I have. I'm always buying some CD at some point, lately I bought GU Lights Out 2, Renaissance Release 3CD, Essential Underground Vol.9, last two months and I bought GU004 (to replace my shattered and completely skip prone copy), it should be here by next week.
