We have several new members, here at [i:Vibes], every day pretty much. Yet almost NONE of them post AT ALL, never mind become regular contributors to the forums.
Why is this?

I joined a few months ago but all the action is at TA. I can't connect there, so i thought drop by but no one is here. Hell, even Ian is there too.

I think most people who are online on i:Vibes just browse the news and info sections - then head on to TA for discussions.

Theres alot of opinion on this board...alot of bashing peoples likes and dislikes of songs (I'm guilty too) and I think people steer away from that...but TA is even worse so...at least theres no fights here like TA...I like this board but I havent been on it in 5 days an there are only 10 new posts...seems kinda dead.

The board has the best articles and reviews I think...maybe ppl just read and dont post...who knows...there always seem to be a tonne of guests on...we run a board and you cant read it unless you register...

it's dead even when we try. That being said, TA is a lot more fun at times and I'm a mod on there, as well as writing on here. I'm going to try to push the forums more here but it will take time, I don't think there is any one fix for it.

We had our post-top last autumn when we gave out free records and stuff to the most active users.

Reintroducing that would probably boost the forum-activity again, but I'm not sure if it's the right way to go...
