Most obviously, I'd reccomend Way Out West. Also look into Mara, Hyper, Moguai (make sure you get the spelling right), Plump DJ's, Evil 9, Ils, BLIM, Starecase, General Midi, Lee Coombs, and a host of others leading the way in the breaks scene right now.

I've always labelled Way Out West as progressive trance, from the tracks/remixes I've heard. Same with Moguai.

not sure about breaks went to a night in leeds called Technique at the weekend and had mixed feellings about it. some of the tracks were decent, but the fact it was just breaks and wasnt integrated with anything else it got a bit repetitive and stagnent. it would have been a lot better and interesting if a bit of proggy house/ house was dropped in to add some variation and keep the sets more fresh. still had fun tho but much prefer back2basics.....

I definately wouldn't label him as breakbeat; he's a D&B artist all the way.

oh my, I have so many features, so many reviews and so little time but I joined this site to push my many ideas and I hope you like what I'm doing.

oh yes, armin van buuren interview shortly as well (I hope). It is blunt Andy P questions, really that no site has the guts to ask.....

should be fun.

well it seems that sometimes you look confused with the music labels, i mean what is progressive in our times, its obvious that progressive has taken elements from the most kinds of electronic music to be the way it is right now, electro, breakbeat, trance, ambient etc. (i believe that progressive is a kind of electro)

If you want my opinion, I only know one thing, breakbeat the way it sounds right now, is the future of progressive, people is tired of the monotony...

(dont look my name, trance is another love story and i dont want compare it with break.b. and progressive Mr. Green its diferent music thats all)

Check out the "MOB" imprint with artists such as "Evil 9"........ "Release" imprint out of Toronto/Canada(Amen to the Leafs), aswell as "Zero Tolerance" out of OZ(Australia).....Gab Oliver, Jono, Precision, and Ivan Gough to name a few from down under who seem to be miles ahead in the Progressive 4/4 or Breaks.

Cheers Surprised

Damn.......I also forgot to mention the top quality of "Starkid"(may he RIP). His random production into breakbeat is quite enjoyable when he worked his magic outside of the 4/4.

Cool
