I picked up this CD after hearing one of their songs remixed on Dieselboy's latest album, the first time I'd ever heard of them. Gotta say it's some of the best D&B I've ever heard, I'm shocked that they don't have massive worldwide exposure. I was wondering if anyone has heard any of their other releases, and if it's as consistent as this one.

Not any of their other CD releases, but I've heard some of their other singles, and they definately seem to have a great sound going. Ill Skillz really made that mix of Take Me Away though, I have to admit. Aside from Disturbance, they also released Concord Dawn (self-titled) in 00, and Uprising in 03.

| These guys have been in it for a few years now. They used the Fruity Loops program to produce most of thier first tracks-not sure exactly what they use now. They actually are quite popular in the Dnb scene. I have a few live mixes from them if you'd like to trade. I also have about 45-50 singles by them on mp3 (not in my list) If you'd like to trade-let me know!

It's tough to say whether I would recommend this to start off with. On one hand, it strikes me as something that would appeal more to the ear of someone who is familiar with the style, but I did get one guy I know who isn't much into it hooked when I first played it for him, so who knows? If you were to check out some singles, I would say Guardian Angel, Cloud City, and possibly The Drill are a good representation of their overall sound -- so if you like those, you'd probably like the rest of their work too.
Let me know how it turns out if you do check 'em out.

Oh yea, and the one Rayvin is talking about is Take Me Away (Illskillz Remix) on Dieselboy's The Dungeonmaster's Guide. Really a top-notch song, that's the one that impessed me so much that I looked for their CD.

If you like trance, and are curious about DnB, there are few finer places to start than with esteemed producer John B -- a pioneer of the trance 'n' bass sound! A good example of this is his collaboration with DBA called "Falling". Another features the vocals of Natalie Warren and is entitled "Mirror of Thought". Intoxicating!
The technosnobs -- more precisely, myopic DnB purists -- have panned him for his style, but this has only made John B more popular for his openminded, very musical and yet tightly produced approach. Refreshing!
